The game takes a person back to ancient times where several Historical events such as World War 1 and World War II took place. The game is inspired by various Historical events and the players will be asked to please the opponents on the battlefield. The game has amazing features that help the player get addicted to this game.

Battlefield 1 has engaging gameplay, which makes the game interesting for the player. The Multiplayer mode in battlefield 1 gives the player several options which makes the game more interesting. In this version of the game, there are a lot of new modes that are added to the game.

As PC war gaming has taught us, sound is everything, and the creators of Battlefield 1 know it. Shoot somebody close up, and you can actually hear their bones break as the bullets fly through. The sounds of the explosions are crisp, and the sound of the guns is not too repetitive, which is a big plus in a first-person shooter like this. The graphics are amazing, but they are not perfect. As with many war games, the character's faces look a little off. Given current console technology, they could have done a little more with the character's faces. Instead, they have put most of their effort into effects, which is why the game looks fantastic when a battle is in full swing. The creators have added quite a lot of variety into the game, since you jump from one scenario on foot, to another in a plane, and another in a balloon and so forth. It adds to the replayability of the game, but takes away from the perceived realism of the game. Sadly, the creators have snipped chunks out of the game so they may make sales with downloadable content. For example, you cannot play as the French unless you pay extra.

The story is a new, albeit time-tested, war drama, and the gameplay is well above average. EA have spoiled it a little by being so money grubbing and forcing players to pay extra with downloadable content before they are able to enjoy the whole game. Nevertheless, if you have bought a gaming PC, a Playstation 4 or Xbox One, then Battlefield 1 is the reason you paid all that money.

The point of the open beta is to help the developers, as well as the fans, figure out what are the major issues are in the game before its official release. So, help EA DICE out, download the game and get a sneak-peek, and see how you like it.

EA Access costs 3.99 a month, or a full year costs 19.99. It's a pretty good deal - you get early access to new EA games and the Vault has loads of great games to download and play. If you've held off getting Battlefield 1, dropping four quid to download it and play for a month is a decent option.

Between now and May 15, you can download Battlefield 1's first DLC, They Shall Not Pass, for free on Xbox One and PC. And although the price goes back up to $15 after that, it's yours to keep and play forever if you add it to your account before the deadline.

Three additional expansions are available for Battlefield 1, though they're not currently free. Now that all the DLC is out, DICE said in a blog post that it will begin winding down the frequency of game updates.

Henderson, who accurately leaked a ton of details related to Battlefield 2042 ahead of the upcoming game's official reveal, took to Twitter earlier today to say that Battlefield 1 will be made available as a free download starting next week. We should stress this is not confirmed and plans could change, but Henderson's track record so far suggests this will be going ahead.

The announcement of Battlefield 2042 last month saw a huge surge in interest for past Battlefield titles, particularly Battlefield 4. It's unlikely that the 2016 shooter was high up on anyone's list of Battlefield games to get back into, but perhaps EA is hoping offering it as a free download will be a good way to drum up fresh interest in the WWI adventure months before Battlefield 2042 flings us into the future. We'll update this story with details on how and where to claim Battlefield 1 for free as soon as we receive confirmation from EA.

At its peak, the free weekend had over 43,000 players, according to SteamDB which is an online portal that tracks Steam data. In the two days following the promotion, Battlefield 1 had a peak player count of 37,645 and 38,187 across Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

Amazon Prime subscribers can download Battlefield 1 for free, alongside Battlefield V. The player count for Battlefield 1 on Steam will not include those playing via Origin thanks to Amazon Prime, meaning that high number is from Steam players alone.

Amazon is making both Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V free to download and keep forever as part of its latest Prime Gaming promotion. In the case of Battlefield 1, it is available for free now until August 2nd. Then, starting August 2nd, Amazon will make Battlefield V free to download through October 1st.

To take advantage of these freebie offers, you'll need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber -- which is probably not a problem for most gamers out there -- and visit this Amazon Prime Gaming landing page. If you haven't already signed up for Amazon Prime, it costs $119 per year. It gives you a plethora of Amazon services, including fast shipping, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, and promotions like the one above.

Once you claim the offer for Battlefield 1 (and later for Battlefield V), you will need to download the Origin Client for PC, log in with an EA account, and click the Origin menu. From there, you can select Redeem Product Code to obtain the game. Alternatively, you can log in to the Origin store online with an EA account and select Game Library. Next, click Add a Game and then select Redeem Product Code. Then freebie will then show up in your Game Library.

We should note that even if you don't have a Prime membership, you can still jump in on the action by taking advantage of a free 30-day trial. The 30-day window will allow you enough time to obtain product codes for both games if you act now, and both will still be available in your Origin/EA account even after your trial lapses (if you choose not to become a paying subscriber).Updated 8/3/2021Battlefield V is now available to download for free for Amazon Prime subscribers. You can grab it directly from Amazon by visiting this link.

A notable leaker suggests that Battlefield 1 will be made available for free next week. The World War I-based first-person shooter, released in 2016 and developed by DICE, is the fifteenth installment in the long-running Battlefield series. The game was praised for its single-player campaigns, improved gameplay, and unique WWI setting.

Publisher EA recently announced Battlefield 2042, the next installment in the first-person shooter series which will adopt a near-future setting. The publisher recently revealed that Battlefield 2042's rumored sandbox mode will feature maps from old Battlefield games, allowing players to revisit familiar locations within the upcoming title. The game will reportedly feature a secret mode that has not yet been officially revealed, though many rumors suggest that it will be a sandbox mode featuring parts of older franchise maps. Sandbox mode, popularized by the Halo series of sci-fi shooters, would allow players to freely explore an open area and design their own battles. EA has now officially confirmed that Battlefield 2042 will incorporate old maps, so it seems that the rumored sandbox mode will actually become a reality. EA also recently revealed that Battlefield 2042 will feature crossplay and cross-progression systems, allowing players to enter combat with or against other players regardless of what system they're using.
